Here’s what some of our members are saying..
“The Hub offered research-based best practices in terms of procedures, activities, and interventions. It’s vital for reading teachers to be familiar and skilled in all areas, but particularly assessments, goal setting, progress monitoring, and reporting. CAI Hub touched all bases with thorough analysis and useful in-depth presentations.
Thank you for updating and re-igniting my joy of learning.”
Christine, Master Teacher and OG Practitioner
“Thanks for creating this. It is excellent and has been a great place for me to view the panorama of my own views, learning, and life experiences with reading and dyslexia and learning interventions. (I have been in private practice for over 20 years. Yikes!)
To gather the basics of SOR and present it in such a user-friendly way is immensely helpful. The small video snippets allow me to take in and digest in my open spots throughout the day. “
Cindy, OG Practitioner
“The training was very comprehensive, providing detailed information about PA and different approaches to teaching phonics. The one aspect I appreciated was that there was always research provided to explain the rationale for the approach, especially in PA.
Overall, the course was informative and I would recommend anyone taking it from new teachers to seasoned literacy interventionists.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I join if I’m not a Canadian educator?
Absolutely! Just because our community is based on the Canadian education systems doesn’t mean you need a maple leaf tattoo to fit in. Reading Science is mostly universal, we customize just a part of it. All are welcome—bring your curiosity and love for learning!
Can my school pay for my membership or courses?
Yes, indeed! At checkout, simply use the school’s credit card, and you’re all set. If you need a receipt for reimbursement, we can do that, too. Just ask!
What if I don’t have a lot of experience with the Science of Reading?
No problem at all! Our training is designed to guide you step-by-step, and our community is super supportive. We actually have a Reading Science 101 course which might be perfect for you. Whether you’re a total newbie or looking to build on what you know, we’ve got a place for you. Plus, there’s no such thing as a silly question here!
How much time do I need to commit?
That’s up to you! Our courses are flexible and designed for busy educators. You can pace yourself through the materials on your schedule, but if you want more interaction, there are live cohort calls every week and a monthly coaching call. Engage as much or as little as you want—your progress, your pace.
Is there a refund policy if I decide it’s not for me?
We want you to feel totally comfortable with your choice, so we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on courses. For the community membership, you’re welcome to join one of our calls for free before committing, so you can see if it’s a good fit!
What if I have a question during or after the course?
You’ll have plenty of support! Weekly cohort calls are there for you to ask questions and get feedback, and our monthly community coaching call lets you dive deeper. Plus, you can reach out anytime in the community forum, where fellow educators are ready to help.
I’m already juggling a lot. How will I this fit in?
We get it—life’s busy! That’s why all our trainings are asynchronous, so you can log in when it’s convenient. And if you miss a cohort call, no worries; replays are available. The community is here whenever you are. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss this more if you are concerned.
