The iterative framework for intervention will work for anyone running a literacy intervention. Learning Resource Teachers, Private Interventionists and Orton Gillingham Practitioners etc.
Is this only for Canadian Educators?
Nope! We are based in Canada and serve many educators here, but this is an evidence-based reading intervention framework that will work any where.
What if it doesn't work for me?
If you follow all the steps as laid out for you and still feel that you don’t have the tools you need to be successful, we will provide four 1:1 coaching sessions to scaffold things more for you.
Will my school fund this pro-d?
Good question – let’s find out and see. We can provide you with letters and outlines that you can use to approach your admin to source funding.
Will this work for writing, comprehension, or older learners etc?
This is a framework that is not content-specific. You can apply the framework to any kind of literacy intervention at any age.
Is this a programme?
No. This is not a programme. We like programmes and recommend them, but the Reading Specialist Mastery Blueprint is a framework that sits over and above a program you may use. The course provides training in the framework and coaching so you can gain competence and comfort with it as you work through the programme.
What if I miss one of the 8 live sessions?
No worries. The sessions are all recorded. Participants have access for one month after the course has completed.
I'm so busy right now. How can I fit this in?
Teaching moves at 100 miles per hour during the school year—there’s rarely a quiet moment to catch your breath, let alone overhaul your approach. That’s exactly why this program is designed to work with your existing practice, not add to it.
The magic of this bootcamp is that you’ll learn and apply as you go. This isn’t sit-and-receive PD—it’s hands-on, reflective work that helps you tweak what you’re already doing in real time. We’ll look under the hood of your current teaching, make small strategic shifts, and observe what changes stick.
In fact, starting at the end of the year is ideal. You’ll have space to tinker now, time to reflect over the summer, and the tools to start next year stronger than ever.
From a time perspective, plan for one 60–90 minute call each week, plus a little extra reflection and planning time within your regular teaching flow. And here’s the bonus: by the end of the program, you’ll be saving time on planning—not adding to it.
